Danish Summer Glas Big Drops - Black Smoke

Our Danish Summer Tumbler with a pattern of large drops can hold both cold and warm drinks, be used for writing implements or for storing small items. Each individual glass is mouth-blown and rounded into a wooden shape, so even though all products have their own unique and varying color and pattern, all glasses are the same size.

The colors have been selected and developed especially for the Danish Summer collection and give you the opportunity to create a personal expression that appeals to you. Whether you decorate with a playful play of colors or tone-on-tone shades.

The color Black Smoke, with its greyish and simple colour, goes well with most other colours. Both from the weak and light Pink and Blue Smoke tones to the strong and delicious Green. Or pair it with Amber to create a cool-warm contrast.

The designer behind the Danish Summer collection, Marie Graff, has been inspired by the wet, late Danish summer, where the surface reproduces both large and small raindrops. The Danish Summer Tumbler is mouth-blown and rounded in a wooden mold in the Czech Republic, where Marie lived with her family for a number of years. It was here that she started the interior design company Kodanska, which means Copenhagen Street in Czech.

Since the glass is mouth-blown, small air bubbles may appear, which is part of the uniqueness and charm of mouth-blown glass. The Danish Summer Tumbler is also available with a pattern of small drops.

Washing instructions: Tolerates hot drinks, but we advise against pouring boiling water directly into the glass, to avoid the glass bursting. Can be washed in a dishwasher on a gentle glass program, so the glass is kept beautiful for a long time.
